Steps of the Orange Leaf Franchising Process

1. Submit an application

    • In order for us to respond to your inquiry in an efficient and effective manner we need to know a little bit about you. The best way to begin the franchising process is for you to fill out an application and submit it by email, mail, or fax.
    • Upon reviewing your application, we will give you a call to discuss your application and discuss any upfront questions you may have.

2. Receive the Franchise Disclosure Document

    • Once mutual decision to move forward has been made, we will send you the Franchise Disclosure Document. The FDD is a comprehensive document detailing items such as; startup costs, corporate structure, audited store financial information, operating agreements, etc.

3. Schedule a time to come visit

    • Once you have reviewed the FDD and decided you would like to know more about Orange Leaf, we welcome you to our headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK to meet our corporate staff and take the time to tour one of our nearby corporate stores.

4. Sign an Agreement with Orange Leaf

    • Signing an Agreement with Orange Leaf will formalize your commitment to our brand and unleash our full support. Ideally, you will already have a location selected and will simply need to execute a lease at this time.

5. Location selection

    • Choosing a location is perhaps one of the most important steps of the process. We will work with you and your broker to find a location that suits our demographic and lease requirements.
    • Once you have narrowed down your list of desired locations, your broker will help you submit LOIs and shortly thereafter you will submit your top location to Orange Leaf for approval.

6. Construction

    • Our Construction Coordinator will provide you with our comprehensive Construction Specification Manual and will coordinate with you to get building underway as soon as possible.
    • We will be checking in on you throughout the construction process to ensure that everything is going according to plan and that you are aware of all the necessary steps.
    • The culmination of your construction phase will end with our Construction Coordinator making a trip to you location for a final inspection

7. Training

    • Concurrent to your store’s construction, our training and operations staff will be working with you to ensure that you will be ready to open as soon as the store is built.
    • Training entails a trip to our corporate headquarters for instruction on marketing and brand consistency, store operations, cost controls and labor controls. These sessions will then be followed up with in-store training on operations (continued), recipes, the POS system, machine tuning, and training employees.

8. Grand Opening

    • Our operations team will come to your store shortly before opening to ensure that everything is in order and that you are ready to open.
